Ivana Nicole Gilger
Ivana is from San Diego, CA where she attended the Academy of Our Lady of Peace for high school. She played competitive volleyball growing up at Coast Volleyball Club and participated in the Junior Olympics for two consecutive years. She is twenty-two years old and recently graduated from the University of San Diego with a degree in Business Marketing and Real Estate in May 2022.
San Diego Native
Growing up in San Diego, the beach becomes a part of your lifestyle. Ivana grew up in the water and in the sun. This helped her develop a love for photography. She loves to capture pictures of the beautiful San Diego as well as portrait pictures of friends and family.
Student and Worker
During her time in college, Ivana was a full time student at the University of San Diego who graduated in four years as well as a full time worker. She worked two jobs throughout her time in college. She was a floor manager at a gift shop in Pacific Beach, CA called Pangaea Outpost. She was also a server at Sardinas Italian Restaurant. Being a full time student and worker has taught Ivana the importance of time-management skills as well as being responsible and dependable.
Love for Music
From a young age, Ivana has always had a strong love for music. When she listens to music, it is her sweet escape. It is the only thing in this world that allows her to be lost from reality for a little and find inner peace. When she was a student at USD, she was a part of the school’s radio club. There, she found a passion for writing music-related articles as well hosting her own radio show. Ivana hopes to find a career combining her passion for music with her degree in business marketing or real estate.
